Hey Becky..thank you for your wonderful comment. You and “Circe” have been really fun to work with. Maybe we will have a short winter and the workshops can start back up earlier than we might think…until then…I look forward to our weekly lessons too.
Vicki! I just wanted to say thanks for putting so much time in with Circe and I this summer/fall. We love your workshops and learn so much from them. I am going to miss them over the winter, but look forward to our weekly lessons with you. We will be ready for your next workshop next spring!!!
Hey Robin…thank you for letting me know about the Aug. workshop. I have taken your name off and put your name on the Sept. workshop.
Vicki, I had signed up for the Aug 6th workshop but I can not make it. I enjoy them but I have to start packing my brother-in-law and also get Ashley ready to go back to school. She leaves that Sun. So much to do. I will want to added to the Sept list if I can. Thank you for all your hard work with Teddy and I. Do not know what I would do without you.
My Horse Nic, and I have been to many of Vicki’s workshops. And have we’ve had a blast! Vicki is very observant, and detail oriented. She can see any issue’s that you may be having with your horse, and helps the both of you work through it. And it IS, mostly rider error!
She gets so pleased when you have made accomplishments with your horse, whether it’s on the ground or under saddle. It makes you want to work harder.
I would recommend her workshops to everyone! You get to do fun and different activites, with your horse. And you and your horse get to know each other better, and have a stronger relationship!
Hey Robin…thank you for your comment on the workshops. I am very glad that you have enjoyed and, most importantly, learned from them!
I have been in almost all of Vicki’s workshop and I can see the improvement Teddy and I have made. These workshops have helped me learn to become a better rider for myself and for Teddy. I have also met a lot of nice people. We are all learning every time we are with our horses and I thank Vicki for helping me build my confidence and be more aware of what I am doing on Teddy and off. You have to listen, watch and be observant of your horse and its surroundings for your safety and his/hers. I am going to continue to be a part of Vicki’s workshops because you never stop learning and admitting when you make a mistake, that’s what makes you a better rider.
So, we just finished the 4 week confidence workshops, they have made such a difference! Even our everyday rides have improved. The confidence level in both of us have SKYROCKED!!! Thank you sooo much Vicki for taking the time to help us
Hey Susan: I am glad you enjoyed the workshop. It was great to go to Donna’s. Like you, I always enjoy when light bulbs turn on for students. It was a great learning experience for all of us….yes, for me too!!!
Hey Vicki, Really enjoyed your recent workshop…thank you. As usual, lots of good information. It was especially rewarding to watch the “lightbulbs” go off in other participants as they came to better understand and overcome their own fears working with horses. Great idea going to visit Jet at Donna’s ranch. My fear level was certainly raised just listening to Donna talk about Jet, but watching the two of you work with him was inspiring and reassuring. “Dynamite” Jet just needed someone to “talk” to him in his own language. (Keep up the good work Donna!)
Hey Susan: I am glad you like my blog. I hope you are finding it helpful. I hope I can get some really good pictures of my upcoming workshop to share with everyone.
Hey Vicki, Great slide show of pictures from last years workshop. Your website is really coming together. keep it coming!!!!
