Building Confidence with your Horse Summer Workshop Dates

Hi everybody!  I have the dates for the upcoming summer “Building Confidence” workshops.    The dates are:  June 11, July 9, Aug. 6, Sept. 10, Oct. 8 and Nov. 5.  The time will be 9:30 am until 12:00 (noon).  All dates are on Saturday.  The price is $75.00 per horse and rider.  There will be no auditing fees for anyone interested in checking out the workshops!

Please check your calendars and reserve your spots early.  I have received several inquiries regarding these classes.  Please feel free to email or call me to reserve your spots.  I am going to place the dates with six spots next to each date so everyone can check the availability on my website. After I receive your name for your spot, I will post it on the website for your convenience.

I have had so many students, over the last several years, with concerns about their horse being anxious or spooky which is what prompted me to start these classes.  A rider, or horse, lacking confidence to what life might throw at them is something that I witness on a daily basis.  I would like to help everyone build confidence for themselves and their horses.   The only way this can start to happen is to expose you and your horse to some unfamiliar surroundings and obstacles.   If you don’t ever expose your horse, you will never know how he might react and the same goes for you.

If there are any further changes, I will let everyone know so please check my website. This adventure should be interesting, fun and very educational.  I hope to hear from you.  Let’s all build confidence together.   Knowledge will always be your best tool…. Thanks!!!

  • Heather…I think it would be a great idea. My main focus is your horse and I try not to over expose any horse in my workshops! I hope you decide to attend. Vicki

  • Heather Morsman:

    Hello Vicki,

I have a 3 year old Friesian Cross that I started undersaddle in late April. He is doing great but I am trying to expose him to as many things as I can to build his confidence. I am wondering if your workshop would be an appropriate environment to build his confidence.

    Thank you,
    Heather

Welcome

Are you not having fun with your horse anymore?
Do you find yourself wanting to give up all together?
Please don’t give up just yet!
I would love to share with you what horses have taught me through many years of experiences.
I will help you understand your horse from his/her perspective. You will find Information on issues such as groundwork to riding, trailer loading and etc.
First and foremost…be ready to understand that a horse doesn’t need to change/understand the human.
The human needs to change/understand the horse, therefore, the change will need to come from the human to a better partnership between you and your horse!
Thank you, Vicki
